Towards a Sustainable Future: 100% Green Energy in Bruschi’s 2025

Mar 12, 2025 | Environment, Innovation, News

In today’s context, where sustainability is a priority, Bruschi has decided to adopt responsible energy solutions for 2024 and 2025, aimed at building a more sustainable future.

Bruschi renews its commitment to purchasing 100% certified and guaranteed green electricity for the entire 2025 production. Just like in 2024, the Abbiategrasso (MI) and Gorla (VA) sites will exclusively use electricity from renewable sources, significantly reducing environmental impact and CO₂ emissions.

With a total consumption of nearly 6,000,000 kWh of electricity, Bruschi thus reduces its environmental impact by eliminating scope 2 emissions, saving a total of 1,825 tons of CO₂.

In this way, each manufacturing plant reduces its carbon intensity.
For example Abbiategrasso ‘s manufacturing plant has reduced carbon intensity of 83%

2021 CO2 (t) 2024 CO2 (t) Carbon intensity reduction
Scope 1 343 248
Scope 2 1124 0
Totale 1467 248 83%

This journey has been supported and encouraged by many key clients of Bruschi, including Siemens and Schneider Electric, who have welcomed the green shift. This demonstrates that sourcing 100% renewable energy not only has a positive impact on the environment but also improves the company’s perception.

In conclusion, companies’ commitment to adopting increasingly sustainable choices brings enormous benefits to the planet while simultaneously strengthening customer trust, who see these decisions as a sign of awareness and responsibility.
